Dust, Dirt, and Defiance

Today, we finally got to go sight seeing. We went to the Umm Qays ruins in Jordan- it was phenomenal

We got to see colums and mosiacs and ... ah I dont even know- SO much. The history of the middle east is truly amazing.

Hands down, the most breath-taking part of the whole experience was the sunset over the mountains... Its kinda awesome to think even if you never have the chance to go explore the world, anyone and everyone can experience the beauty of a sunrise or sunset. Its one of the few things that one human cannot deny another. sA, to me, its the most beautiful site and the fact that I got to experience it at an astonishing archaelogical site in another country was just the cherry on top.

Today was perfect, and I only wish I could give you all a piece of that sunset but a picture is all I have- a picture does not do this moment justice.
