The entire color scheme of the outside is blues and yellows and the inside is so green- green and gold and its breathtaking. Pictures will definitely be up soon. And inside "kubat il sakhra" where the rock is, I got the most intense feeling, literally chills.
I don't remember ever feeling so deeply into a prayer as the Jummah prayer in Jerusalem.
No wonder it's "The Kingdom of Heaven," its absolutely amazing!
We also went to see the cathedral where Jesus was believed to be resurrected from the dead and that was also amazingly beautiful... Unfortunately, going to the wailing wall was out of the question because of the Jewish Israeli security but just being in the city of religion was all I needed. The city looks exactly like one would picture it- there's the old city that's untouched and there's olive trees everywhere and old stones from the Ottoman and Roman empires and the history is just astounding
Seriously, after seeing all this -I've really taking a great interest in Architecture- the problem is that's a problem...
UNC doesn't offer it and I'm not really willing to transfer and i don't know i feel as if it too late.. we'll see - maybe grad school!
anyway I really loved Jerusalem- I loved everything about it and on top of all the sight seeing we got to go shopping so I got to get some beautiful souvenirs for all my beautiful friends. That being said I'm so broke haha...
Alrighty time to get back to reality.. until next time
